Goldenseal Salve: This salve is designed to have excellent disinfectant properties and to be useful for treating skin infections and fungal infections such as athlete’s foot.
Directions:
Disinfectant — Wash all dirt and debris from cut and wipe dry. Apply enough salve to cover cut completely and bandage. Improvement should be apparent within 24 hours. If cut reddens, swells, heats-up or emits an odour consult a physician.
Athletes Foot— Apply a small dab directly to the infected area and gently massage into the skin or nail. Repeat two or three times daily, or as needed. Continue up to 30 days. If condition does not improve or worsens consult a physician
