Plantain weed contains plant compounds that reduce inflammation and promote healing of difficult blisters, boils and open wounds that are slow healing.

The leaves of the plantain contain several anti-inflammatory compounds, including flavonoids, terpenoids, glycosides and tannins, which support wound healing by reducing inflammation, blocking microbial growth and relieving pain. 1, 2

Medicinal Dosage: Apply directly to the wound and cover with a bandage. Use daily until wound is healed.
