Ear Oil:  Mullein oil has been used for hundreds of years to treat earache, discharge from the ear and for any eczema of the external ear and its canal. A study published in The Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in 2001 concluded that an herbal ear drop with mullein was just as effective as an anesthetic one.
