This salve is moderately hot in temperature and works on muscles versus our Cayenne Ginger Salve, which is mildly hot and works on bones and joint pain. Cayenne is a warming circulatory stimulant. One of its active ingredients is Capsaicin, which stimulates circulation throughout the body and signals the brain to release endorphins, the “feel-good” hormones. Capsaicin is also an effective pain reliever for arthritis, bursitis and muscle and joint ache. Cayenne also supports the immune system.
Directions: Apply salve directly to affected area several times daily, if desired and gently massage in. Wait 10 minutes to experience any heat. This salve is moderately hot and use with caution. Keep out of eyes, lips and mouth. Wash hands thoroughly after applying. Do not eat.
